Nature is a powerful storyteller. Even the simplest leaf can speak to storms weathered, seasons passed, and even of new life emerging. The more time I spend in nature, the more I understand what it means to endure the storms in my own life.
Through my work, I aim to share the ethereal connection I experience between personal resilience and the rhythms of the natural world. As I layer mixed media and repurposed materials, I discover a quiet harmony—one that mirrors the peace I have I’ve felt when I am standing by the ocean or sitting beneath a favorite tree. While storms are inviteable, I find hope in natures constant renewal and in the process reflecting that beauty through my art.

Bio
Kyndall Rainey is a mixed media artist based in Oklahoma City. She studied fiber art at the Kansas City Art Institute before completing her B.A. in art education at University of Central Oklahoma. She currently she teaches middle school art at Crossings Christian School, and exhibits her artwork in various galleries and festivals throughout the region.
Much of Kyndall’s work explores themes on nature, conservation, and personal identity. Using recycled materials, and layered paint techniques, she creates textured immersive landscapes that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect.
